Pennsylvania rapper Lil Skies has pulled the plug on his scheduled appearances at Australia’s Listen Out festival, which kicks off in Melbourne today.
No explanation has been offered for the artist’s last minute cancellation, which includes all Listen Out dates and Adelaide’s new ‘Listen In’ event.
However, festival organisers have already announced a replacement act, with Sydney rapper Manu Crooks stepping in to cover Lil Skies’ vacated slots.
“A huge thank you to Manu Crooks for stepping in and filling the Australian tour dates (including Listen In Adelaide) and to B Wise for Auckland,” they wrote on Facebook. “We know that our patrons appreciate them dropping everything to join the tour.”
The lineup switch out comes after Listen Out added five new acts to its 2018 lineup.
This year’s Listen Out lineup is headlined by Skrillex, Skepta and A$AP Rocky. Peep all the official set times right here.
Police have already warned punters about a drug dog operation going down at the Melbourne leg this weekend.
