Kanye West Drops New Song ‘Lift Yourself’ With His Most Bizarre Verse To Date
Kanye West has dropped a new song after a turbulent week on Twitter and you won’t be expecting it, not even from the most unpredictable man in music.
West shared a link to his website which currently houses new song ‘Lift Yourself’. At first it sounds like a Kanye song, giving us a classic soul sample with beats but then comes his verse.
“Poopity scoop, woop-ee-de-scoop,” is an actual lyric taken from the verse which is made up entirely of phrases similar to those.
It seems the song is trolling all those who are looking for clarification on his current Trump-supporting political stance.
He aimed a tweet before the release of the song at US radio host Ebro who has had conversations with Kanye about his current right-leaning comments.
“I’m going to drop a song with a verse that will bring Ebro the closure he’s been seeking,” he wrote on Twitter.
There’s plenty of new music to come from Kanye. He’s promised two albums in June – one solo record and one with Kid Cudi – and he’s also been teasing a new songs with A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott and Lil Uzi Vert.
You can listen to new song ‘Lift Yourself’ right here.

Here’s The First Setlist From The Killers’ 2018 Australian Tour
The Killers played the first show of their Australian tour last night and they delivered a mighty setlist of old favourites and newies.
The band came out of the gates in Brisbane with fan favourite ‘Mr. Brightside’ straight into ‘Somebody Told Me’ and ‘Smile Like You Mean It’ which are all taken off their debut album Hot Fuss.
They also spotted favourites throughout the set with ‘All These Things I’ve Done’, ‘Human’, ‘Bones’ and ‘When You Were Young’ all getting a play.
Unsurprisingly, majority of the setlist came from their most recent album ‘Wonderful Wonderful’ with Brandon Flowers and co playing five songs from the record.
The album that got the least attention was 2012’s Battle Born’ which they only played two songs off.
They are set to continue their tour in Sydney tonight and you can start preparing by looking at the full setlist from last night below.
